Utah’s gun sales on the rise

Utah's rate of gun sales has grown more quickly than any other state over the last ten years.

According to security and safety system website Security.org, Utah's rate grew by 80-point-four-percent between 2009 and 2018.

Even with that growth in gun sales, Utah still only ranks 16th overall for total sales per person with nearly 83 per 100-thousand residents.

Montana led that category, followed by Alaska and South Dakota.
