Church announces location of new Temple in Saratoga Springs

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has announced the location of a temple in the works for Saratoga Springs.

The temple will be part of the new Beacon Pointe subdivision near Redwood Road and Meadow Slide Drive.

The LDS Church says the three-story temple will take up a 23-acre site that will also include an adjacent meetinghouse.

Former Church President Thomas S. Monson first announced the plans for the temple in April 2017.
