Church announces location of new Tooele temple

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has announced the location of a new temple in Tooele County.

The Tooele Valley Utah Temple will be built in the town of Erda at the intersection of Erda Way and Highway 36.

LDS Church officials say the three-story temple will also have a meetinghouse built next to it.

Design details and a groundbreaking date are still in the works.
