Fire officials released new numbers on the Snoqualmie Fire that has been burning in Layton.

The fire has burned more than 250 acres, 120 homes have been evacuated, however no structures are currently threatened.

Crews responded to the wildfire Monday night.

Fire officials said the fire was reported just before 10 p.m. at the Fernwood Trailhead, that’s the east benches in Layton.

Air support will be dumping water on the mountain and officials said crews will not used retardant as it could contaminate a nearby watershed.
