ST. GEORGE — The 17th annual Dixie Regional Transportation Expo will have a new twist this year. The event, in its entirety, will be conducted virtually. The Dixie Metropolitan Planning Organization in partnership with St. George City will host the online transportation expo on Tuesday, Feb. 9, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. It is free to attend. Register here.

“Each year the transportation expo provides an excellent way to be informed on current and future transportation projects, not only in St. George but throughout Washington County,” said Karen Roundy, Coordinator for the Dixie Regional Transportation Expo. “We are not doing it in person this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but you can safely attend this year’s expo online from the comfort of your home or office.”

Expo participants can see virtual booths and speakwith transportation representatives one-on-one about projects such as the Southern Parkway, State Route 9, St. George Regional Airport, the 30-year Regional Transportation Plan, active transportation plans and transit plans.
