Republican Senator Mitt Romney is supporting a move from the NCAA to potentially allow college athletes to financially benefit from their own name, image and likeness.

In an interview with ESPN's Outside the Lines, Romney said their needs to be adjustments in how college athletes are compensated, considering how much time they give to the university and how much schools financially benefit from that.

However, the senator said the NCAA needs to regulate the process so the system is fair for all athletes in all sports, stating that schools can't have "a couple athletes driving around in Ferraris" while others are having a hard time making ends meet.
