President Trump has vowed to assist after nine members of a fundamentalist Mormon family were killed by drug cartels in Mexico.

The three women and six children were members of the LeBaron Family, which are part of a polygamous offshoot of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Members of that family say the victims were in cars traveling from the state of Sonora to Chihuahua when they were attacked.

The victims are all considered dual U.S.-Mexican citizens.
