President Trump’s re-election bid support not overwhelming in Utah

Despite being a reliably Republican state, Utahns are not giving President Trump's re-election bid overwhelming support.

A new poll from UtahPolicy.com and Y2 Analytics matched the President against one of the current Democratic candidates and asked voters who they would support.

Trump fared best against California Senator Kamala Harris, receiving 48-percent support to her 33-percent support.

By contrast, in a matchup against Senator Corey Booker, Trump received only 31-percent support, while Booker received 43-percent.

On average, out of seven potential match-ups, Trump received 40-percent support while his Democratic opponents were at 35-percent.
