Senator Romney continuing criticism of President Trump

Senator Mitt Romney is again criticizing President Trump for comments the Utah Republican feels are dividing Americans.

Romney condemned Trump yesterday for encouraging a group of Democratic congresswomen to go back to where they came from if they don't like America.

Romney called the comments destructive, demeaning and disunifying, adding that the President had failed in his duty to find ways to unite Americans.

However, he refused to call the remarks racist.

As for the four first-term congresswomen targeted by Trump, all but one was born in the United States.

Romney stopped just short of calling the president's comments racist.
