Senator Romney sends message with large poster

Republican Senator Mitt Romney is pushing congressional Republicans to help states and city governments with coronavirus response costs. 

During a caucus meeting yesterday, Romney showed off a large poster featuring a bar graph with the headline, "Blue States aren't the Only Ones who are Getting Screwed." 

The chart showed budget shortfalls all 50 states are facing because of the pandemic. 

Romney's argument comes as Republican leaders, including President Trump and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, have said they don't want to send federal aid to certain states and cities with Democratic leaders.
