Republican Senator Mitt Romney has joined the growing chorus of voices condemning the death of a black man at the hands of police in Minneapolis. 

On Monday, 46-year-old George Floyd was arrested outside of a convenience store. 

Video shows an officer kneeling on his neck for eight minutes as he gasped for air. 

On Twitter, Romney says the "shock and outrage" from that video must grow into what he calls "collective determination to extinguish" racist abuse.
