A Utah teen has been formally charged with murdering his mother and three siblings and the attempted murder of his father.

Tooele County Attorney Scott Broadhead said yesterday that 16-year-old Colin Jeffery "C-J" Haynie stayed home from school last Friday and shot each of his family members as they returned to the house in Grantsville.

Because he's a minor, Haynie is not eligible for capital punishment but could be sentenced to life without parole.

The funeral for the family will be held at noon tomorrow at Grantsville Stake Center.

Tooele County Attorney Scott Broadhead says C-J Haynie still isn't talking to investigators.
