Firefighters making progress on I-15 fire

Firefighters are making progress on a fire that closed north and southbound lanes of Interstate 15 near Cove Fort last week.

Officials say the fire was sparked after a trailer carrying carnival gear rolled into the bushes.

No injuries were reported. 

The fire, dubbed Mile Marker 122 fire has burned 1,232 acres and is at 60 percent containment. 

Crews are asking people to be safe when traveling along the I-15. Firefighters are still working in the area.
