Friends stunned after couples murder

Friends of a couple killed in their home in West Jordan are still stunned by their violent deaths over the weekend.

Travis Osborne had been friends with Tony and Katherine Butterfield since he met Tony in college more than a decade ago. 

The Butterfields were found dead early Saturday morning in their home.  Three of their children were in the home at the time of the shooting but were not harmed. 

Investigators believe the suspect in the case may have been injured at the time of the shooting. 

The police department tweeted yesterday that progress is being made in the case and that they soon hope to have positive news to release to the public.
