A bill that would make it easier for some Utahns to pay for insulin is on its way to Governor Herbert's desk.

House Bill 207 was approved by the Senate yesterday, with 28 of 29 senators voting in favor.

The bill requires insurers to cover insulin with no deductible at the lowest possible co-pay.

That covers the entire cost of the insulin dose and would cap the co-pay at 30-dollars per month, per prescription.
