Senator Romney questions former leaders of the U.S. Homeland Security
Utah Senator Mitt Romney wants to know what the U.S. government is doing to protect its citizens against cyber threats.
Romney questioned former leaders of U.S. Homeland Security on the issue yesterday at a special Senate committee meeting at the National September 11 Memorial and Museum in New York City.
The Utah Republican asked if there was a better way to protect the country from thousands of cyber attacks launched by countries like Russia, China and North Korea.
Former Homeland Security head Janet Napolitano said there needs to be a national approach that recognizes cyber attacks as one of the top three security threats currently facing the U.S.
